Technical data:

What was needed: a flexible gripping system, consisting of a parallel and a vacuum gripper, that can be adapted to different object geometries.
Requirements: suitable for small installation spaces, cost-effective, absolutely free from lubrication, maintenance and corrosion, long service life, easy installation, robust, reliable application
Products used: drylin® R aluminium shaft AWMP, reverse dryspin® trapezoidal lead screw PTGSG, drylin® trapezoidal lead screw nut with spanner flats JSRM-172220TR10X2 and JSLM-172220TR10X2, iglidur® J3 sleeve bearing J3SM-1012-08, iglidur® J3 cylindrical plain bearing with flange J3FM-0304-05, J3FM-0608-06 and J3FM-0810-10

Success for the customer:for a compact structure, conventional machine components have been replaced by igus products such as plastic plain bearings, guides and lead screw drives, which are also more cost-effective.
