Plastic spherical bearings

Spherical bearings are usually associated with heavy materials, difficult installation, and high costs. Application areas

Ease of installation allows igubal® spherical bearings to be used in many applications. They can be used wherever self-aligning bearings offer design advantages or facilitate assembly.

Tolerances

Maintenance-free igubal® spherical bearings have an inner diameter tolerance according to E10. The shaft tolerance should be between h6 and h9. The bearing clearance compensates for bearing expansion due to warming.

Assembly

igubal® spherical bearings are press-fitted into an H7 hole and axially secured. No exact bearing housing alignment is necessary, since the spherical bearing automatically compensates for alignment errors.

Dimensions

igubal® spherical bearings are manufactured according to DIN ISO 12240 in the K and E dimensional series. igubal® spherical bearings are available in standard dimensions from 2 to 40mm. The K dimensional series is available in imperial dimensions. Please contact us if you need other dimensions.
