Liners solve wear problems in milling machine
To reduce the wear on its milling machine, the manufacturer relies on our <a 0="[" 1="o" 2="b" 3="j" 4="e" 5="c" 6="t" 7=" " 8="O" 9="b" 10="j" 11="e" 12="c" 13="t" 14="]" href="/product/iglidur_T_V400" target="_self">tribotape liners made from iglidur V400. With minimal intervention in the machine, this is an extremely economical solution, which has now been running for a year without failures.
In addition to its wear resistance, iglidur V400 withstands temperatures of up to +200°C and offers high media resistance.
Significantly higher wear resistance than standard materials
The liners were able to prove their high wear resistance in the igus test laboratory. When comparing their wear with that of a stainless-steel pin, we found that all four tribotapes performed up to 10 times better than PTFE glass fabric and PTFE bronze compounds. In addition, the materials are abrasion-resistant and free from lubrication and maintenance.
The tribotape materials are easy to process - you can cut them to size with scissors - and have a self-adhesive back as an option, which results in almost unlimited application possibilities.
